How to Enter

CoverBand is giving seven Grand Prize winners a trip to Anaheim, CA for Winter NAMM2010 to perform a live concert!

You can enter videos in up to six categories: Vocalist, Bass Guitar, Electric Guitar, Acoustic Guitar, Drums, and Hand Percussion.

First prize: All expense paid trip to Anaheim for Winter NAMM 2010 including entrance to the trade show, practice sessions with the other winners and a live concert performance.

(There will be two [2] winners in the Hand Percussion category and one winner in each of the other categories. Participants may enter one video per category. Judging is done per video, and not as a collection per entrant.)

Here’s how it works:

• Upload your video to YouTube or Google Video.
• Starting July 15th, visit Coverband2010.com and register for an account.
• Copy the embed code or URL from your YouTube or Google Video page. Your video will be subject to moderator approval.
• Click "Add Your Video". Paste the embed code or URL or embed code into the Video file on your video page on Coverband2010.com
• Starting September 16th October 1st your friends and fans can vote for your video. Voting ends October 15th 31st, 2009.
• The top 5 Entries in each category based on the voting process will be determined finalists. Winners will be announced on November 6, 2009.

By submitting a video you are agreeing to CoverBand’s terms and conditions and agree to have your video shown on YouTube.com, Coverband2010.com, and affiliates. Click here for details on our terms and conditions.

Tips and guidelines for video submissions:

• Submissions must be received by 11:59:59 p.m. ET on September 15th 31st, 2009 to be eligible for public voting and the final judging (new submissions will no longer be accepted after this deadline).
• Votes must be submitted by October 15th 31st. One vote will be allowed per category per user account.
• As a video submitter, feature only yourself, no band submissions are allowed.
• No backing tracks.
• No backing musicians.
• No editing.
• No digital/computer enhanced submissions.
• No special effects on the video submission.
• Submissions are not to exceed two (2) minutes.
• No vulgar language
• No nudity
• Make sure to use an e-mail address you will keep until the end of the voting period so we will be able to contact you.
• Cover Band is not responsible for any litigation resulting from the use of copyrighted material. Post at your own risk.
• Clips that are clearly not legitimate videos will be discarded.
• Participants can submit one video per each of the six categories.
• If your video is rejected, please do not resubmit.
• Cover Band reserves the right to reject any video it deems inappropriate or not up to standards of quality.
