Keith Pereira Funk Drum Beat

This is a video of me doing a variation of a funk rhythm. I am not a drum soloist, but I have great chops and a good sense of rhythm. I have played a lot of different styles of music and this is one I thought would do well here. I have played drums in some form since I was kid, but never really sat behind the kit until a few years ago. In the last four years my playing has taken off and now I play in a church rock band out in Maryland. Playing is what I love to do most. It's my passion and I draw pure joy from a job well done. There are some great drummers already in the contest but I hope that I am one of the finalists picked by your panel. Thanks for the opportunity!
